we mostly had the home to ourselves! Our lovely host made breakfast and had time for a chat. We played the with dog- he insisted! Our room and the bathroom were lovely and roomy as well. Northern lights were showing right over our heads the one night we got to stay there.

Not fancy at all. Tiny little room and bathroom, but clean, comfortable, and very quiet. They also had an upstairs that had a kitchen where you could get coffee, refill your water, or do some light cooking or reheat a meal.

This was one of my favorite stays in Iceland. We were there end of season so there was hardly anyone. It was quiet and clean. We even got a stunning aurora display there without obstructions. The food was expensive, but good. We got great hiking in and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The sauna was also a nice touch.

Beautiful environment. Very good beds and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Well eqipped, absolutely clean apartment. The open-air hot bath tub is a great idea, it was a great experience at the end of the day, with a stunning view.
Quaint hotel, we were the only guests due to a storm and the lady in reception was so helpful and friendly. The food was lovely, the chef had made some extra treats which were divine! Breakfast was lovely!

Everything was clean. It's a guesthouse, so the experience can be varied according with the other guests sharing the house/toilets, but everyone was quiet and respectful whilst I was there. The staff was very nice too. And the location is great if you are looking for somewhere quiet and near Vik/Skogafoss.
