Wow, what an exceptional place! This was one of our favorites during our trip along the Ring Road. The hosts welcomed us when we arrived in the night, and took time to explain everything for our stay and some things we could do in and around the area of Akranes. They stay upstairs so are easily reachable. There's only one other room, so I believe the bathroom is only shared with up to 2-3 other guests. All facilities, including the room, bathroom, living room, and kitchen, were spacious and very clean. The space is literally a house with the lower floor converted to a guesthouse, so with this and the warmth of the hosts, it really feels like you're staying in a home away from home. Checkout is easy and on the later side so you have time to take a quick walk over to the lighthouse in the morning (takes just 15 or so minutes)!
Set in Reykjavík’s old town, this property is 5 minutes’ walk from the Laugavegur shopping street. Free WiFi is available. All accommodations options at Reykjavík Treasure B&B have private bathrooms.

The place was very quiet and cute decorated, You have fully equipped and cozy kitchen. You can have some coffee, tea, cereal, etc. Every room has different name on the door, with very cute keys by the way. The staff is very kind and can help you whenever you need. They invited us to a complimentary breakfast in the main property Blue House B&B - Icelandic pancakes and coffee. They also inform you if the sky is clear, and where you can catch the Aurora - next to the property 2min up the hill or on Grotta lighthouse 25 min walking. RECOMMEND
Iceland is amazing. 🇮🇸❤️

The place was wonderful! The first night we had the place to ourselves and the second night another couple were staying in the other room. Enough space for booth of us and the kitchen was perfect size. The bathroom was a little small if we were staying there longer sharing the place, but honestly wasn't too bad and manageable -- especially for the price! The breakfast was perfect in the morning and on complaints! Wish the host knew more about the area and could give us more ideas to do than a Golden Circle tour we had already booked before arriving to Iceland! She was wonderful and super helpful beyond information on what to do around Iceland!
We would stay here again because it's a perfect location to the lighthouse where we saw the Northern lights the first night we stayed there!
Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city center is 8.7 mi away.

This place is in the middle of nowhere and it’s perfect. The little space was so cute and cozy too. There check in process was cake.
Located in Reykjavik’s old city center, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings.

The location, for us, couldn't have been better. You could see Hallgrimskirkja cathedral from our rooms. There are restaurants and even a little grocery store in less than a 5 min walk. The section of the Rainbow Road is less than 10 minutes away.
The staff was kind and helpful. Good breakfast options. The entire guesthouse was very clean and well maintained. Having parking on the property was huge. We would definitely stay here again on future visits to Reykjavik.
Set in a building dating back to 1916, this Reykjavík guest house is within 5 minutes’ walk of the popular Laugavegur shopping street. Both WiFi and private, on-site parking are free.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 197 ft/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short...
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The hosts were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. They encouraged me to do some of the activities in town (like the Oceanside hot baths). It was an experience I might have skipped and it was just wonderful. The house is quiet and super clean and comfy. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts really made it a special stay. Thank you
Nice cosy cabin with great amenities including induction hob and fridge. Good location if exploring around this area of Iceland, nice and easy to get to off the main road. Quiet at night
Would definitely recommend
Fully equipped home away from home. Heaps of room. Warm and welcoming. Info on local attractions. Friendly hosts. We were only at the start of our trip so didn't need to use the excellently appointed laundry washers and dryers. Appliances generally all very modern. The location was very quiet, no traffic or neighbour noise.
This is a great camp style place. Own cottage with private bathroom, kitchen corner very well equiped.
You can leave food you don´t need, but there is problem with the expiration and no check later.
Cozy, nice, quiet, near the ocean, Tata the dog, great location to view the Northern Lights if they appear. We went as a group of four (two couples) and it was great.
This is my second stay here and I would gladly return. (I stayed in a cottage last time but this time was in the main guesthouse, which is less private and can be noisy but is significantly cheaper.)
Location is great for a stop-off between Keflavík (or Reykjavík) and the north.
I did not meet the owners this time but last time they were very friendly (including dog).
