The host gave us many perfect tips for a great time in Iceland and served an incredibly delicious breakfast in the morning.
The accommodation was cozy, warm and perfectly located for some amazing city sightseeing in Reykjavik.
We couldn’t have found anything better. :)

Didn't utilize the breakfast service due to barely being on the property later in the morning.
Our room was small but tidy with a load of instructions if we needed any help with anything.

Great stay, really comfortable rooms, fantastic location. Rooms perfectly warm and cosy with thermostat controlled radiator. Kitchen brilliantly resourced, everything you could need. A kitchen and a bathroom on each of the two floors plus another of each on the third floor where there's a communal lounge. Kind, helpful owners who looked after our luggage after checkout as well as letting us take our towels swimming the same afternoon. Easy to use key box for check in if arriving after 6pm.
Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away.

Really pretty location.
Great communication before our stay and really quick to answer any questions I had.
Only 20 minutes from Reykjavik town.
Great room for what we needed. Basic but comfortable, large and clean. Really good value for money. Definitely would stay again.
Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings.

Although design and finishes were abit dated, it had everything required for a comfortable stay! A well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds! Having a secondary entrance that led to the carpark was really convenient for luggage moving.

We liked the location (close to the bus station and city centre) and price. The room was comfortable enough for a short stay and the heating was great. It also had underfloor heating in the bathroom.
Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking...

I arrived @ Kef airport.
Bus from there, straight to BSI Station.
No stops.
5 (possibly 7) minutes from BSI Station and you are at the guesthouse.
Everything was ready to welcome me and self check in was perfect. All super clean, the staff is great and friendly, like you are with some friends in the same house. Litteraly in front of Hallgrímskirkja Church... litteraly. From there you can walk everywhere in town. I had few hours and I had the opportunity to see everything in town.
They provide all the info you need to shop around and feel at home. Thank you guys. important thing: they are in the building and ready to help.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hosts were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. They encouraged me to do some of the activities in town (like the Oceanside hot baths). It was an experience I might have skipped and it was just wonderful. The house is quiet and super clean and comfy. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts really made it a special stay. Thank you
Nice cosy cabin with great amenities including induction hob and fridge. Good location if exploring around this area of Iceland, nice and easy to get to off the main road. Quiet at night
Would definitely recommend
Fully equipped home away from home. Heaps of room. Warm and welcoming. Info on local attractions. Friendly hosts. We were only at the start of our trip so didn't need to use the excellently appointed laundry washers and dryers. Appliances generally all very modern. The location was very quiet, no traffic or neighbour noise.
This is a great camp style place. Own cottage with private bathroom, kitchen corner very well equiped.
You can leave food you don´t need, but there is problem with the expiration and no check later.
Cozy, nice, quiet, near the ocean, Tata the dog, great location to view the Northern Lights if they appear. We went as a group of four (two couples) and it was great.
This is my second stay here and I would gladly return. (I stayed in a cottage last time but this time was in the main guesthouse, which is less private and can be noisy but is significantly cheaper.)
Location is great for a stop-off between Keflavík (or Reykjavík) and the north.
I did not meet the owners this time but last time they were very friendly (including dog).
