The host is very friendly and helpful. She took the time to prepare food when we arrived in the evening, talked to us, and gave us some great tips about what to visit. Breakfast was great, we ordered it the evening before. I had such a good sleep there... The place is situated close to all the distilleries in a quiet area!

Great location in the town. Only a couple of minutes from a tesco store and two petrol stations close by. (Tesco and Asda). Several establishments close by for evening meals. The property was clean, the rooms large and well equipped. Private car park with plenty of space. Large choice of breakfast items (including veggie options) which we ordered the night before. Small library with some local books and general reading.Very welcoming and great value.

Very quaint and charming room, well decorated and very friendly hostess. You have a kitchenette with everything you need, large comfortable bed and a living room area to sit in in the evenings. Love the horses outside as well. Inver is a gorgeous little village with a beautiful beach. You can see the stars in the night sky more vividly than usual as its so sparsely populated. Lovely vibe and friendly folk around the area.

The hotel itself is utterly charming! Superbly located and quiet. I have read reviews that say it’s dated - it is a little bit but that merely adds to its charm! My double room was super clean, comfortable and well equipped! The food was lovely. However the most outstanding thing about this great hotel is the family who run it! Honestly the welcome is home from home. Nothing is too much trouble. Genuinely the Royal Hotel is worth the stay and we will be back often!
