The room, which was one of three in the annex, was clean, comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent. The choices on the menu for the evening meal was varied and would cater for all tastes.It would be worth reserving a table for an evening meal. This old coaching inn is like stepping back in time with small rooms, an open fire, and very sociable. There isn't a bar but a tap room with a fine selection of good quality beers. The owners and the staff were all brilliant and welcoming.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Everything from key collection to departure ran smoothly . Very well appointed accommodation which was spotless . Quiet location only a few minutes from our final destination . It was a bonus to be able to sit on the patio with a beer in October
