The Kings Head Country Hotel, hotel in Hillington

The Edwardian King’s Head Hotel offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in Great Bircham, around 20 minutes’ drive from King’s Lynn.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We were welcomed warmly. Our room was pretty and quiet with good cupboard and drawer space. The bathroom was great - turning on the bath taps did not result in a hair wash from a badly designed shower which so often happens. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice and after a good nights sleep Sandra (the owner) couldn’t have been nicer. We were late for breakfast but she made sure that we had toast and coffee to see us on our way.

Quirky mixture of buildings, unexpected interior in main restaurant Was concerned at noisy bed but it was comfortable, bedding clean and crisp. Good pillows. Good flow to shower. Towels fluffy. Extra touches (shortbread biscuits) appreciated . Nice toiletries. Excellent breakfast choices, pleasant and engaged staff.

Really friendly and accommodating hosts! Linden B&B had a homely feel that instantly made you feel at ease and comfortable. It was a great location for our friend's wedding a walk down the road, for which they even provided umbrella's and pre-warned us to have our torches due to limited street lighting. The breakfast was superb, cooked to perfection and they ensured we were well fed, the perfect amount.
