The service was excellent. I attended a Birthday lunch and the meal was lovely, breakfast the following morning was great too. Parking is difficult but the boss kept an eye on what was available and even kept the space for me so that I could park close to the property because the car park was full

What a gem. Very friendly, polite, helpful and efficient owners Kay and Doug. Started with a personal welcome notice outside directing me to personal car parking space. Very comfortable spacious room. Very quiet and peaceful house, garden and neighbourhood, nicely located for a variety of attractions. Lovely breakfast. Would give it 100% with a distinction.

The room we had was comfortable and private. The building just oozes history (with a brief history written up in the welcome folder) and the garden that we had full access to was lovely. The bed was great and we slept really well. The owners were great hosts and the home cooked breakfast set us up for the day and the view as we ate was of the garden. The attention to detail was really good and the location is perfect for exploring Suffolk and Essex.
