The room, which was one of three in the annex, was clean, comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent. The choices on the menu for the evening meal was varied and would cater for all tastes. It would be worth reserving a table for an evening meal. This old coaching inn is like stepping back in time with small rooms, an open fire, and very sociable. There isn't a bar but a tap room with a fine selection of good quality beers. The owners and the staff were all brilliant and welcoming.

Elena is an exeptional friendly host and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Having to leave early to catch the ferry from Harwich she went beyond and prepared me a tastefull breakfast to go, accompanied with a note to thank me for my stay and wishing me save travels home. I realy appreciated that. She and her family put a lot of effort in errecting this comfortable B&B in an old barn, so much is obvious.

I could not fault the Nags Head in East Harling. The staff are great, the food was great, the room was great. Across the road from the pub is a village free car park which can be used if the pub car park is full.
The Elms in East Harling provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. There's a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.

Friendly hosts, comfortable room, in a really good location for me. Hearty breakfast meant I didn't need lunch. Was greeted upon arrival with a cup of tea and a slice of warm apple cake, which was most appreciated. Will definitely bear The Elms in mind for when I'm next in the area.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Denise and John were friendly and helpful with all our questions, lovely quiet location, excellent breakfast and service. Looking forward to an excuse to return.
Jane and Richard are charming and thoughtful hosts. Their home is clean, bright and comfortably cheerful - like staying with friends! Our room was spacious and pleasant, with the en-suite also being large and very clean. We also noted how very quiet it is there, both house and neighbourhood. A lovely get-away for adults wanting some peace. We regret our stay was too brief, and look forward to visiting Cowpasture Barn again. Thank you.
Fantastic pod with parking just outside, super clean with thoughtful and fun decoration and very well kitted out with great bathroom, nice cold fridge and a nespresso machine!
Bed was very comfortable, location felt private and it was quiet. The owners were super friendly too.
I'd definately use the pod again in the future.
Great location and very friendly staff. They accomodated our request for an early breakfast at the weekend with no fuss. Hotel was quiet and peaceful which was exactly what we were looking for.
Beautifully appointed, quiet room and very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were superb. There was a very good selection of cereals, with fresh fruit, orange juice and yoghurts and a choice of beautifully cooked and presented breakfasts. Also tea/coffee and toast were replenished if required.
The hosts were friendly and attentive but also knew when to withdraw to give guests space.
Lovely B and B. Richard and Jane are lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Very quiet location. Their home and our room were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb with plenty of options. One of the best b and b’s that we stayed in ( and we have stayed in many!)superb B and
Fantastic peaceful luxury pod, away from the hustle & bustle. It was super quiet and there was almost zero light pollution, which mean you could spend your evenings listening to the wildlife and looking at the stars... not bad for a work trip!
The little heater provided worked surprisingly well, all furnishings were comfortable and the full bathroom was great
My stay was exceptional value for money, because I had a free upgrade to their best pod through Booking.com's Genius loyalty scheme. Wonderful stuff!
