Maltings Loft, hotel in Eye

Maltings loft offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Hepworth. Free private parking is available on site and free WiFi is provided.

Being self-contained, malting loft was perfect for us as we like our privacy and space when travelling, and there was ample of both. The loft provides accommodation in a very nicely executed conversion, which is clean, fresh, and modern. Situated in the lovely gardens of the main property, on the fringe of the village of Hepworth, it's a pleasant location with some nice walks around the village which we enjoyed of an evening after exploring the surrounding Norfolk and Suffolk countryside on our motorbikes. Hard standing parking was provided, and we felt happy that our motorbikes were safe overnight on the property. Bedding, towels, and breakfast options were all of good quality, and a good open-plan kitchen in the spacious living area equipped us to relax and unwind after our days exploring. Equally spacious, the bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable spaces which we're enjoyable to use.

Jane and Richard are charming and thoughtful hosts. Their home is clean, bright and comfortably cheerful - like staying with friends! Our room was spacious and pleasant, with the en-suite also being large and very clean. We also noted how very quiet it is there, both house and neighbourhood. A lovely get-away for adults wanting some peace. We regret our stay was too brief, and look forward to visiting Cowpasture Barn again. Thank you.

Fantastic pod with parking just outside, super clean with thoughtful and fun decoration and very well kitted out with great bathroom, nice cold fridge and a nespresso machine! Bed was very comfortable, location felt private and it was quiet. The owners were super friendly too. I'd definately use the pod again in the future.

Beautifully appointed, quiet room and very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were superb. There was a very good selection of cereals, with fresh fruit, orange juice and yoghurts and a choice of beautifully cooked and presented breakfasts. Also tea/coffee and toast were replenished if required. The hosts were friendly and attentive but also knew when to withdraw to give guests space.

Fantastic peaceful luxury pod, away from the hustle & bustle. It was super quiet and there was almost zero light pollution, which mean you could spend your evenings listening to the wildlife and looking at the stars... not bad for a work trip! The little heater provided worked surprisingly well, all furnishings were comfortable and the full bathroom was great My stay was exceptional value for money, because I had a free upgrade to their best pod through Booking.com's Genius loyalty scheme. Wonderful stuff!
