This was in a beautiful country location not far from Highclere. The room was adorable and kept in great condition. The cod for dinner was excellent. There are wonderful walks nearby.

It’s an historical building, like a mini maze in places but very much in keeping. The facilities are there tho don’t expect sensaround tvs, hot tubs, saunas, pools and gyms. Instead a homely, quiet establishment with friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and a pub.hotel bar with a decent menu, right in the heart of town.
