Staggs Cottage, hotel in Andover

Jane the host was most friendly and let me borrow her iron for my uniform shirts. The location is very close to local amenities but you’d be forgiven for thinking you were miles from civilisation it is so quiet. The breakfast was delightful too with plenty of choice and the opportunity to meet and chat with another guest over breakfast!

It’s an historical building, like a mini maze in places but very much in keeping. The facilities are there tho don’t expect sensaround tvs, hot tubs, saunas, pools and gyms. Instead a homely, quiet establishment with friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and a pub.hotel bar with a decent menu, right in the heart of town.
