As soon as you walk through the door the heady bespoke scents and sounds of laid back jazz invade your senses before you have time to take in the imaginative and opulent decor, you immediately feel transported back in time to a super cool, 1920s arts club. We loved this. Corine and her husband are super affable, this is a family affair and you feel like part of it. Breakfast was superb and our room, roomy with a massive shower. We will be back!

We loved the building, it’s full of character. The rooms are tastefully decorated & comfortable. The setting on the banks of the Dordogne was peaceful & beautiful. The owner Jean-Charles was so helpful. As the property is a bit remote so we emailed ahead for restaurant recommendations, which were returned promptly. That was a big help as we arrived quite late.

With a friendly greeting, we were helped into a large, airy, garden room with our luggage in this well preserved old stone building. A better parking location than our chosen spot was indicated, well off-road. Thus, a wonderful start to our visit to this chambre d'hotes!
We later discovered our hosts were particularly hospitable with a penchant for wine/food/cooking. Also, at breakfast the very tasty homemade yoghurts & confiture/jams were offered. Our dining experience had been a treat!
The facilities are good with the large, thick towels enhancing our showering experience. It was a most enjoyable stay.

A very beautiful apartment, it has everything you need, it is very beautiful, very stylish, in a great location 5 minutes to get to the centre. The owners were realy nice too, we asked if we could come early to leave the bags, and they came to the flat 4 hours early, it was realy realy nice of them. It is a lovely chateau in a quiet location. Immaculately clean, with modern fixtures and fittings. The staff are very friendly and speak English well. It’s a great place to stop over en route.
Very well appointed apartment, with all of the items you need. It is clear the hosts put a lot of thought into it. The garage was great for storing of our bikes, and the street is very quiet.

Wonderful spacious appartement with garage for one. Lovely, quiet, private patio, amply big enough for 6 adults. Very comfortable beds. There’s even an extra single bed and a cot for children. Very nice interior decoration. Host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with wine and little treats. We’ll appointed kitchen. Huge bathroom. Snooker table……
