For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Cheap and cheerful but we knew that when booking. Idiosyncratic decorations were rather overdone but the location was excellent for the Chaumont chateau, garden exhibition and local restaurants.
The location is perfect for exploring the Loire Valley. The B&B is in a wonderful country setting and even though the weather wasn't yet perfect, it was a charming stay. The host is very hospitable, friendly and communicative. The breakfast offered many options and the coffee was great. The interiors are very stylishly decorated and comfortable.
The location was very quiet and peaceful and only 5 minutes drive from half a dozen restaurants. The owner was charming and helpful and gave us a delicious breakfast every day.
Great location for the chateau. Just a walk around the corner! Perfect for the restaurants just up the road. The bed was lovely and comfy! The view from our window over the Loire was perfect and when all the hot air balloons flew over the hotel it was beautiful. Picnic on the grass next to the river was delicious! This is a great deal for the money.
Very nice hotel, well designed, very comfortable bed, quiet, excellent breakfast with homemade products, very close to the entrance of Chateau de Chaumont. The restaurant has a limited menu but the tastes and perfumes are superb.
A wonderful house full of little treasures to discover. A lot of space around the house, very remote and quiet, and at the same time so close to Chaumont. A new bathroom that is accessible for handicapped people made this a very relaxed stay for my old mum. The owners are very friendly. We would love to return!
The location is in a hidden courtyard but the instructions to find it were easy to follow. The small but beautifully appointed gite is tucked way with its own private outside area.
