Patrick is a little eccentric but very kind natured. This is an off-grid house rather than a hotel so don’t expect luxuries like unlimited water. It sits in private gardens but don’t be put off by the daunting “Privado” signs….
We were made welcome, enjoyed a superb 3 course dinner, and were sold bottled waste to top up ahead of a long section on GR221.

Son Bunyola is an exceptional luxury hotel with plenty of beautiful terraces and discrete quiet areas for the small number of guests it accommodates. There are plenty of friendly staff available to provide services to guests and general help and holiday advice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner quality were very good and the location is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
This hotel is a gem! Beautifully located in the quaint town of Banyalbufar, close to many hiking trails and restaurants. The town has everything you need but feels quiet and "local". The hotel had a beautiful breakfast and the room was really well equipped with a comfy bed, big bathroom, and even a kitchenette. We loved chilling in the back yard, or out front looking out at the water. The public bus comes right out front and can go to neighbouring towns and even into Palma.
A beautiful little family run boutique 'bed and breakfast' tucked away in a small local village with views onto the ocean. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the in-house restaurant was fantastic and the general atmosphere was befitting of the quiet and authentic location.
Located in the very quiet and charming village Bañalbufar, Mar i Vent was a perfect choice for us. Family run for several generations and much of its legacy is still prominent today. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pool area was ideal and a lovely daily breakfast.
