Very nice staff! Very quiet place and neighbourhood. To get to the hotel needs only a few bus or tram stops from the main station. The room was very spacious, the same as bathroom. Cleaning service, refreshed room, clean bedsheets and towels noticed every day! :)

This was the coziest little quaint hotel I have stayed in! It was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff made us feel like home and was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the mini fridge in the room for cold drinks.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and I will stay here again, should I find myself near Bochum again. Loved it!

Very nice property with lovely bathroom in a quiet location which had good access to shops and public transport. Very good value for money. Will be definitely visiting again.
Overall good and great host. Response on any queries were very prompt so was easy. It’s an old building but the property kept very clean and with all facilities included except for fan.
Kitchen had basic items provided like salt, sugar etc that was impressive.

Nice and quiet . Allowed to check in super early- thanks to reception and housekeeping for making the room up at 11am! Not like the big hotels that make you wait till 3pm for no reason
Fantastic hotel.
The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food in the restaurant was great - both the pasta they dished up for us with no fuss at 22.30 after the football and the breakfast included in the price of the room. We came for the Euros, so booked what we thought was a cheap and cheerful hotel that would fit the bill, safe to say La Scala far exceeded expectations.
(They also let us stay and do a couple of hours work in the restaurant after checkout which was incredibly helpful).
The rooms were really big and clean. Lovely furniture and great location. It’s essentially a small house with a livingroom, bathroom and bedroom. And really cheap.
