This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Carlos and Werner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One morning, we left early, and Carlos kindly prepared sandwiches for our journey. The room in the main building was well-equipped, spotless, and cozy. We loved unwinding on the balcony while taking in the stunning lake view.

Wonderful little casita with a balcony overlooking the entire town, plus a terrific tree that attracted about 10 species of birds every morning, including two species of toucans. See photos taken from the balcony! Well equipped, clean, comfortable, with helpful hostess. Walking distance to lake and town center, various restaurants. Loved the pool, the view, the hosts. Kees and his wife were so helpful and helped us out with lots of different things. Tronadora is quiet but authentic - we had a great meal at Don’Liz.
