10/10! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Monte Terras. We were very friendly welcomed by Cees and Griselda. The cabins are very spacious, clean, good hot shower and good working WiFi. The cabin is also equipped with everything you need and the swimming pool is really big and well maintained! Cees and Griselda really made us feel welcome and are the best hosts! The breakfast they offer is delicious, don't forget to take Cees his Dutch pancakes. Griselda also offers (therapeutic) massages. She is a real professional and I couldn't have wished for a better massage. Highly recommend her affordable massage service!

The property is stunning with astonishingly beautiful views - birds , monkeys and lake. Host Christian and partner warm and welcoming. Easy to find. The room was lovely, clean and comfy with plenty of hanging space , bathroom elegant. Fresh bread & Christian’s ginger, banana and guava jam a revelation :).

It’s a farm, you stay in a separate house that is very spacious. It has 1 large bathroom, bedroom with double bed and baby bed and a spacious kitchen with a coach and 2 double bed.
We did not cook but eated at the farm for two diners and two breakfasts. We have also taken a farm tour with two and it all costed around 280 dollars.
It felt liked we where home at Costa Rica with Allen, the owner.

Friendly welcoming host, great location peaceful with views of Lake from pool area. Comfortable, clean , tastefully furnished and very well equipped cabin. Tasty home cooked breakfast, pancakes, gallo pinto and fresh fruit delivered to room. A hidden gem. Great stop between La Fortuna and Monteverde
Loved the pool, the view, the hosts. Kees and his wife were so helpful and helped us out with lots of different things. Tronadora is quiet but authentic - we had a great meal at Don’Liz.
