Of all the places we stayed during our time in NZ, this was by far our favorite. It is in an idealistic setting with excellent hosts who are attuned to all the fine details that really make guests feel welcome. Highly recommend when in Franz Joseph area.

Featuring a terrace and views of mountain, Hokitika Fire Station Boutique Accommodation is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Hokitika, 400 metres from Hokitika Beach. What an amazing place! Our room was fabulous with lovely touches. Great to see a building so sympathetically restored. Would highly recommend.

Set in Otira and only 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Basic, Super 'Cosy' Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private... A very basic old hut, has been tidied up and painted, has everything you need- microwave, air fryer, stove, kitchen utensils, table, chairs. It has the best pot belly wood stove and this makes the cabin very warm and cosy. And also great for cooking on. It was very comfortable. When compared to the price of other cabins it is expensive, but represents reasonable value for accommodation at Arthurs Pass, as accommodation in this area is also very expensive
