If you see this villa available, don’t think - book it straight away. This is a very rare gem and, so far, my best stay in Sri Lanka after spending on the island 6 weeks. Everything is beyond expectations - location, clean and spacious apartment, attitude to guests, breakfasts. Thank you Asanka, Ajith and Jamie - you made me feel like I am at home. I am really looking forward to coming back to JJ Villa and seeing you again!

Offering a garden and city view, Maple Place is located in Unawatuna, 1.2 km from Bonavista Beach and 1.4 km from Unawatuna Beach. Such a lovely stay! The family who runs Maple Place are so kind and thoughtful, lots of attention to detail. They allowed us to leave our bags early and even provided a cold drink while we waited for the room to be ready. The room was clean, exactly as pictured, always had hot water, and ac/fan worked excellently. Location on the main road was a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the beach or town. The breakfast was so delicious and had variety for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend we would definitely stay here again!

Set within 200 metres of Hikkaduwa Beach and 1.2 km of Narigama beach, 4 Seasons Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Hikkaduwa. Four Seasons guesthouse is the quintessence of Sri Lanka: warm hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty. The owners treated us like relatives. The owner’s son, Bodhi, took us for free snorkeling and showed us the best places for watching fishes and corals. Within a 5-minute walk, there are two beaches. On the first beach, you can watch huge turtles. Additionally, little hatching turtles are released into the ocean every day at 6 pm. The second beach is amazing for snorkeling, where you can observe octopuses, tridacnas, moray eels, reef sharks, and a variety of fish species near the shore. The room may appear ascetic, but it is very comfortable, super clean, and tidy. We had hot water, a kettle, a fridge, and even a fumigator in the room. The bed was very comfortable. There is a great garden around the rooms where banana trees, cinnamon, black pepper, pineapples, coconuts, and orchids grow. Additionally, you can spot a lot of birds, lizards, and butterflies here. Our stay coincided with the Sinhalese New Year, and we were treated to traditional cakes. We truly appreciate this attitude. I highly recommend Four Seasons Guesthouse!

Situated within 1.7 km of Dalawella Beach and 2 km of Mihiripenna Beach in Unawatuna, Coral Palm Villa and Apartment provides accommodation with seating area. A large room with an freezing cold AC and kitchen. Recommend for long term travellers or family guest.

The apartment is very cozy, the host is wonderful hospitable, breakfast is amazing. I had a great time in Galle. I will definitely come back and stay here. Thanks again for everything

Dams Place is a self-catering accommodation located just 1.5 km from the popular Galle International Cricket Stadium and 1.9 km from Dutch Church Galle. Free WiFi access is available. This was the place I felt like home. The apartment was very nice, clean, with a kitchen and a washing machine. Great view, it even has a rooftop terrace. Very good location. The best part was the host, Dam, he was extremely polite and helpful, helped me book the best massage I ever had, took me to a place where I can buy handmade souvenirs at a very good price, close to his place. He also prepared a great breakfast after I told him what I like to eat in the morning. Thank you so much for everything!

Attractively set in Galle, Wonmi Residency features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The accommodation was large, clean, and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to put our bikes into secure storage. It was an easy walk to the fort. All good. The only thing that was a bit tricky was finding the place, but luckily, the manager spotted us looking and helped us.

Located 1 km from Unawatuna Beach, Tree House Unawatuna offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The view and Apartment were amazing. We booked upstairs, which was probably the best Apartment for the sunset, also for parking. It felt very luxurious and super comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Set in Bentota, 7.9 km from Bentota Lake, New Cinnamon Villa provides accommodation with beauty services. The air-conditioned accommodation is 4.8 km from Lunuganga. This is a great place for nature lovers. The property is surrounded by cinnamon trees. The hosts are two brothers who are very friendly and organise delicious breakfasts. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. I spent 3 weeks here, and I would definitely return ! Thank you, Samam and Nalido.
