We (4 adults) stayed in the Jungle Joy villa for 12 days in February 2022. It is a cosy and peaceful place to stay in Unawatuna surrounded by nature. The location is highly convenient: 10 mins on foot to Jungle Beach where we did snorkelling and 10 mins to the main public beach of Unawatuna where you can enjoy Sri-Lanka food with an amazing view on the ocean. Our part of the villa had everything necessary: 2 spacy bedrooms, one bathroom inside and one outside, a living room and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, a kettle, a refrigerator, different dishes for cooking and eating. The apartment itself was cleaned every day and we didn't have any mosquitos or spiders inside :) I definitely recommend to try breakfast for separate payment (you can look at my pics, our breakfasts were so yummy and so huge). About the host Asanka - he is the best! I've never had such a welcoming, responsive and helping host. He managed everything we asked for, for example, he helped us find a good yoga teacher, a transfer to the airport, a driver to the Sinharaja Forest, organised Tuk Tuks when we needed them. He was always in touch and ready to help. When it was raining but we weren't at home, he took care of our clothes which was drying outside. It was so sweet! We were very lucky to find this apartment and meet Asanka :) I highly recommend staying here and enjoy your time on Sri-Lanka.

The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and absolutely delicious. The host and his team are outstanding—I’d give them 11 out of 10 if I could! The staff went above and beyond, handling everything included and even extras without hesitation. During our stay, my father-in-law got injured, and the hotel team provided medicine and first aid. They also made my wife’s birthday extra special with wonderful celebrations. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride (200-300 rupees) to the very center. Plus, there are two stores, cafes, and three bike rentals within 30-50 meters of the property. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

The property is extremely beautiful with well maintained rooms, garden and lawn. The best part about the stay are the hosts, they are very friendly and helpful. Mr. Bodhi takes extra special care of his guests and makes sure that the stay is unforgettable. The property is very conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and shopping area. We had the best time in Unawatuna, thanks to Mr. Bodhi and family.

Extra large bedroom with an enormous modern bathroom and a bonus kitchen. The photos don't do this property justice. Great value for the money. We were able to hire a scooter from the property.

Dam was truly an amazing host, very kind and genuine and he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. He brought me to the Fort center on his motorbike several times and to the bus station on the day I was leaving. He also prepared a delicious breakfast. The apartment is very well equipped with a kitchen and even a washing machine which was a very nice bonus. The house is surrounded by palm trees and banana trees and it was very quiet at night.

The facilities and security exceeded my expectations, and the customer service was top-notch. It made my experience so much more enjoyable and comfortable. We couldn't have been more satisfied! They even offered transportation from the airport to the accommodation at a flexible rate, which was so convenient. Thank you Thilan for your lovely service.

It was a dream. Very clean what is not automatic in this location. Nearby is bar but is not loud. For us just perfect. 👍
