We had 10 people staying in this house. 6 adults, 4 toddlers. We were very happy with our stay. The room is pretty spacious. And the neighborhood is quiet. Very close to the local famous kid's park by car. We wish we had stayed there longer to have more time exploring locally. The bed was comfortable too.

We also rented bikes and cycled around the area through beautiful rice paddies. The house is bright, very well equipped with fully equipped kitchen. The owner Sun made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a ride to the train station on our last day.

Located within 8.6 km of Daigo-ji Temple and 10 km of Shoren-in Temple, kyoto next door provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Otsu. Location is good, access to various location including Kyoto by either JR, Keihan light rail or bus is easy, the manager is very friendly and very devoted in making the accommodation nice, the neighborhood is very local Japanese, the common room area is very comfortable. Washing machine is a big plus, even though coin laundry is just around the corner.
