The room is pretty spacious. And the neighborhood is quiet. Very close to the local famous kid's park by car. We wish we had stayed there longer to have more time exploring locally. This was a fantastic place to stay, the house is in a beautiful area of Omihachiman with small winding paths and beautiful houses. It is close to shrines, and Mt Hachiman, which we hiked. We also rented bikes and cycled around the area through beautiful rice paddies. The house is bright, very well equipped with fully equipped kitchen. The owner Sun made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a ride to the train station on our last day.

When it rained, we were able to use umbrellas stored in the foyer. The fluffy futons made sleeping in the tatami rooms extra cozy!
