Room temp can be controllable which is rare for Ryokans. A gentlemen showed us around whole facilities, asked us if we have any questions, took good time for greeting guest. It's hard to find a spacious room in Japan with limited budget, but this is exceptional. Most of all, hotel is in the center of town which is of up & down hills. Many of them. Pretty conveinient getting in and out of hotel to the hot springs and back to the room to relax. This is way better than the nearby ryokan I paid 3× more except there is no meal options.

It was also very clean and all the furniture felt very cutely themed. There was also a very cheap vending machine just in front, and a large convenience store about a minute away. The mattresses were very comfortable and an extra futon was provided for us as we were staying as a group of 3.

Nice apartment with fully stocked kitchen and washing machine. Supplied everything we could want Had a/c which we didn't need to use since we could open windows and had a fan. Comfortable beds. I loved being in a quiet non-touristy neighborhood. Only a 10 minute walk to subway and 5 to bakery, grocery, etc.
