Very clean and tidy cottage, modern facilities, all amenities available (coffee, tea etc.), even women care products in the bathroom. Brian made us delicious brown bread, along with butter and milk, very kind! As well I forgot my jacket, and Caitríona has posted it back to us. Just the kindest hosts we’d stayed with, can’t recommend this place enough! It’s a lovely part of the world, wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent location and had everything a person needed.A lof of thought went into looking after guests.More information than a tourist office if you needed it.Loads of brochures in everything local and further afield Even menus for the local Chinese takeaway etc.The place was spotless from top to bottom.Broadband was 90mb.The host is lovely and very friendly.We would stay again without hesitation.

I couldn't recommend a better place to stay while visiting Carlingford it's walking distance to the town,bars and restaurants, it's located across from the pier so the scenery is amazing. Will definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at the village rooms, as a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure in this light-filled accommodation. Beautiful spacious living area and kitchen, amazing water pressure in the shower which was lovely and very cosy bedding! Could not speak more highly of this stay. The location was perfect and the host was very kind.

My stay was very comfortable. The facilities throughout were very good and a high standard of décor. The host Fiona was very friendly and accommodating. The cupboard and fridge were stocked with tea and milk, bread for making toast and cereals.

The Garden Rooms at The Courtyard, Townley Hall er staðsett í Drogheda, 4,8 km frá Dowth og 5,7 km frá Newgrange. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. It’s in a stunning location, we are countryside people at heart and this feels so peaceful and relaxing. Valerie was a wonderful host, sending directions the day before, leaving delicious local goods that we have for breakfast each morning, and it’s so lovely to have someone to greet you on arrival and show you around. There was also a helpful guide to how things works as well as restaurant recommendations - we had dinner at Inside Out which was delicious and very friendly service. We felt really treated and loved every moment. The bed is out-of-this-world comfy! I don’t know what mattress that is but I need one! And lots of blankets for the colder months. Having said that, it was lovely and toasty with the underfloor heating that we could control to our liking. There was a selection of games and leaflets with suggestions of activities in the local area. We visited Knowth and Dowth nearby which were fantastic. We also made good use of the Scrabble set with takeaway pizza from nearby Slane. All in all, we had the most wonderful weekend away, and will almost certainly be back! Thank you, Valerie.
