Set in Carlingford, in a historic building, 200 metres from Carlingford Castle, The Old Boat House is an apartment with a tennis court and terrace. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay while visiting Carlingford it's walking distance to the town,bars and restaurants, it's located across from the pier so the scenery is amazing. Will definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at the village rooms, as a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure in this light-filled accommodation. Beautiful spacious living area and kitchen, amazing water pressure in the shower which was lovely and very cosy bedding! Could not speak more highly of this stay. The location was perfect and the host was very kind.

My stay was very comfortable. The facilities throughout were very good and a high standard of décor. The host Fiona was very friendly and accommodating. The cupboard and fridge were stocked with tea and milk, bread for making toast and cereals.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, The Garden Rooms at The Courtyard, Townley Hall is situated in Drogheda, 4.8 km from Dowth and 5.7 km from Newgrange. We loved everything about The Garden Rooms. In fact we stayed an extra night as the hosts Valerie and Bryan were so very warm and accommodating. Aside from the stunning buildings and beautiful tucked away country location, it was so close to ancient Newgrange (Brú na Bóinne) and the historic Hill of Slane, amongst other local treasures. The gorgeous 2 b/rm. Garden Room Apartment catered perfectly for our family and the yummy local items for a simple continental breakfast were icing on the forever loved Irish cake!
