Both bedrooms had an en suite our host had made homemade muffins and had fresh eggs from their chickens, stocked the refrigerator and left us a very nice bottle of wine. Mairead and Tony were exceptional hosts, so friendly, they picked us up at bus, drove us to several areas we were touring, as we didn’t have a car. I look forward to going back and renting from them again especially when I retire, the perfect place to stay. You can walk to Bagenalstown, which has several pubs, shopping and a nice path for walking.

Very warm cosy clean and comfortable we were only staying 1 night on our way to Kilkenny but it was so comfortable we had a very restful night and we had freedom to do our own cooking which was ideal. A bit of trouble with electricity meter running out the first night , but the host was very helpful and sorted the problem right away
