We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host.
It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.
It was a couple of nights stop traveling from one end of the country to the other. Suited us perfectly. Lovely spot. Our short stay proably didn't do it justice. Very handy to get to places throughout Carlow and Kilkenny.

Superb studio flat, with all the kitchen appliances you can think of. We stayed in four (2+2) on a family trip and couldn't ask for more.
The host is super welcoming and always ready to help, from the tiniest detail to the right size of pillow to suit you!

Pat and Jin made us feel so welcome and at home! The apartment is in a great location close to Carlow town and a short drive from some lovely walking areas. The apartment was spacious and clean and perfect for our short stay.
We was self catering therefore I cannot comment on that. However all the necesary kitchen utensils were available.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and situated in avery quiet and pleasant area.The hosts were very friendly and obliging. On arrival,we found that in the fridge the hosts had provided us with eggs,a sliced loaf of bread and we was also spoilt with some freshly made scones together with some butter and jam.The scones were very nice.
