A recently renovated apartment situated in Carlow, Duplex/2 Bedrooms on Kildare/Carlow/Laois Border features a garden. Everything about this stay was perfect. Very good communication with the owner Ann about how to get to the accommodation and a very warm welcome when we arrived. We loved the location so quiet and peaceful and nice quiet roads to walk on. Also great as a base for exploring the surrounding counties Carlow, Kilkenny and Kildare while if you wish to go further a field to Dublin and Wexford it is also convenient. The accommodation is beautiful very well laid out and comfortable and warm. Kitchen has everything you could need and plenty of space, living space upstairs is very well appointed and there are two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this property and the area in general.

Located 12 km from Mount Wolseley (Golf), Mews with garden views provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Mews is in a quiet location just outside of the picturesque village of Rathvilly. With just a short stroll, you can hang out at the excellent Lawlor's Bar or grab some coffee and breakfast at The Green Lemon. However, don't feel like you will need to leave the property to enjoy your stay! The apartment is equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities, and the garden and orchard are varied and well-maintained, with areas for activity and leisure. Furthermore, Martina and Mervyn were lovely and more than accommodating, even surprising us with fresh pastries and groceries! If you need a break from the busy cities of Ireland, or simply want to experience the full charm of small town life in Ireland, look no further than Mews! P.S.: We traveled in a party of three, and the space (one bedroom and one living space with kitchen) was plenty big. The pull-out bed in the sofa was comfortable, if a little short for a 5'11" individual.

Offering a bar and quiet street view, Bolands Self Catering Accommodation is set in Hacketstown, 26 km from Altamont Gardens and 26 km from Carlow Golf Club. The owner Adrian was a very nice guy. He already received us right outside the door, showed us everything. The pictures online do not do justice to the apartment. It is beautiful, a lot of space and it was as clean as I have never experienced in an accommodation. Right next door is a supermarket, a few fast food shops. You only live half an hour's drive from the national park. It was an hour's drive to Dublin. In the apartment itself is everything you need. It is very detailed and modernly furnished. You feel something like in a castle. A washer driers and a dishwasher are available for self-catering. We really enjoyed the stay there.

Situated in Oldleighlin, in a historic building, 12 km from Leinster Hills Golf Club, Carey's Bar & Farmhouse Kilkenny Border is an apartment with a terrace and bar. Very warm cosy clean and comfortable we were only staying 1 night on our way to Kilkenny but it was so comfortable we had a very restful night and we had freedom to do our own cooking which was ideal. Husband appreciated Guinness from Pub

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Matty's Pub - Apartment's is a recently renovated apartment situated in Carlow, 13 km from Leinster Hills Golf Club. Semi-rural property but close access to all sightseeing in the area Incredibly obliging host Matty generously allowed us to use his washing machines & dryers fee of charge - so kind after having to hand wash clothes for 4 weeks 🙏 Accommodation attached to a great little pub with enormous atmosphere & entertaining locals. Matty’s doesn’t do food, but we were referred 100m up the road to John at the Pint Depot pub - they do the most Amazing “home cooked style” meals for very reasonable prices (bordering on too cheap John for the serve size). Overall Matty’s apartments have been beautifully refurbished, are really comfortable & in convenient position for sightseeing. At the end of the day there is cold beer, a good yarn & yummy food 🥘 Thanks Matty - highly recommend Matty’s Pub & Apartments as well as John & his team at the Pint Depot 🙏🙏🙏
