Staying at Villa Rebecca was exactly what we expected and needed after 15 days of touring: a tranquil setting, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor. Situated on the West Bank, in a rural-like area surrounded by family-style homes and local agriculture, this apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a gorgeous view of sunrise and sunset from the terrace, and really enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided. The host, Ali, and the other people there working were all so kind and helpful - we were really grateful and impressed by how hospitable they were in getting us groceries (i.e. milk, fruit, beer, water, etc.), dropping us off and picking us up at the boat docks whenever we needed it, and for making us feel so welcome from the first moment we met. One of our most special memories was riding three to a motorbike (several times!) through the fields and residential streets, waving back at smiling locals as we whizzed by under the blazing Egyptian sun! It was awesome! Ali also ended up taking us to Marsa Alam for a very reasonable price and I highly recommend that you ask him about tours, places to eat and anything else you might be interested in - he is a very kind man. Overall, a wonderful place to spend your holiday. Highly recommend it!

The staff, treating me like family, elevated the experience. Special kudos to Umran, the driver, whose assistance extended beyond the reasonable tours, going above and beyond in every aspect of my stay—from navigating streets to purchasing train tickets, easing the language barrier. Nasser, the manager, consistently checked in to ensure my satisfaction. Another staff member even went out of their way to take me to a nearby pizza shop at night when I expressed hunger. This hotel offered not just accommodation but a truly exceptional and caring experience.

They are always there for you if you need anything and will always invite you to some tea on the roof top and a good talk. they are definitely the highlight of Tasneem palace. Mohammed gave us a 2h tour around the village and taught us about Egyptian life. The guesthouse itself is new and beautifully made! it truly is a palace with the lush garden around. you‘ll have a living room, a terrace and a bedroom with bathroom all to yourself. you can have breakfast or even a dinner at the guesthouse if you like. the wifi is also very good which makes it the perfect place if you are working remotely.

A great apartment which can hold 6 people. Lovely balconies with a view of sugarcane field. Nice breakfast. There is also a common washing machine, which is very helpful.

The host, Obama was amazing, he personally greeted us at 23pm, took us to the market to buy necesssary items like water, took us to a restaurant that would be open at that hour so that we can have dinner. Took care of us like family and attended to all our needs immediately, we felt very comfortable with him and all his helpers. Would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the real Egyptian service!
