I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kijiji Villas Nungwi during my vacation, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my time there.
The villa itself was stunning, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that provided the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the accommodation, from the plush furnishings to the breathtaking views of the ocean from the balcony.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at the on-site restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether I was enjoying a leisurely breakfast overlooking the pool or indulging in a romantic dinner under the stars, every meal was a culinary delight.
The amenities at Kijiji Villas Nungwi were also top-notch, including a stunning infinity Swimming Pool.

Location is amazing, views of sunrise on the beach are spectacular. Pictures of the room were accurate. Staff are wonderful, someone checked each day that we had everything that we need.
The place has high-end finishes and everything you need in the kitchen. Yes, the building is under construction, but the room is complete enough to be comfortable with no problems. There are a few finishing touches in progress, but our stay was very comfortable and quite lovely.
Added bonus, there's an excellent Padi-certified dive shop (Kibwana) right next door, my husband did four dives and I snorkeled. They had great gear and took good care of us while in the water. Right on the other side is an excellent local restaurant, ChiChi, and another restaurant two doors down that was also very good (Hebe Bungalow).
If you plan on using the kitchen, I would suggest buying supplies on the way as there are limited groceries within walking distance. Otherwise you need to take a taxi to the store. That said, the staff made it clear they would arrange anything we needed during our stay.
When they offer to arrange a taxi to get you to the property, I would recommend accepting. Other taxi drivers do have a difficult time finding the right spot, and they won't be any cheaper.

Laucin is a superb Host, went out of his way to meet our requests. Power outages were challenging, but provided the best service possible. Large rooms,. comfortable living room, good sized Kitchen and Fridge very cold. Nice open patio and secure location. Pool was a relief from the day. Dive Shop referral was perfect, and the.shop provided transportation. Comfortable beds and Netting against Mosquitoes. Beautiful Garden setting. Transportation to/from Stone Town provided (fee).

It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. There is a lot of space inside and outside with tables and beds to make yourself comfortable everywhere. The pool has a good size and depth but the weather was strange and it was too cold for us to use it. The service was great, good breakfast, cleaning everyday, good products in the bathroom, as good as any hotel. Great value!

Heaven on earth, the most wonderful place to emerse in another world. Friendly owner, always ready to accommodate the wishes of the guests. The apartment was very clean, with lots of art and nice sea objects. The furnishings are also of high quality, once in a lifetime experience! The apartment has the most picturesque big terrace that is shadowed by palms and has the beautiful wide views of the turquoise waters of the favorite Indian Ocean. I warmly recommend this apartment if someone wants to experience a unique close meeting with the ocean. Pwani Mchangani (the fisher village where the apartment is located) offers the best and cleanest beach on the whole island of Zanzibar. There are nice restaurants along the coast in walking distance from the apartment offering tasty sea dishes. Thank you Nakupenda Malaika for the unforgettable best time of my life in Zanzibar ❤️❤️❤️

The property felt like it was on an island of its own, hidden away from the rest of the world, it was peaceful with a beautiful garden and wonderful staff. Our apartment was superb, own balcony, private entry, large living room and bedroom with a modern bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, a big shout out to Isaaya who made sure we had what we needed, including ice for our daily drinks on the balcony. Thank you to Tanya who was helpful and kind, you have a fabulous staff and we enjoyed sharing your slice of heaven with you!
Nice apartment with nice view of the sea and sunset. Staff (especially Bony-was always avilible) was friendly and helpful with booking of tours and taxi. The restaurant that served breakfast made good breakfast with very nice fruit platter.
Everything was top-notch! From the transfer (really cheap compared to transfers arranged by other accommodations) to the atmosphere of the place itself where everything is clean and cosy, ready for you to relax. Beach is just around a corner. Very friendly owners and staff, great food and cocktails.
Extra points for detailed tips on local restaurants, trips, markets etc.

-The location of this property is excellent, very close to the beach and the northern point of Nungwi.
-The Masai huts were fun to stay in as an experience and the shared bathroom facilities were modern
-The manager Mounir was very friendly and a hospitable group of guests made me feel very welcome. I was travelling alone and together we went to a local dinner and on a boat trip.
-Perfect for a short stay
The Host were amazing! Bon and his colleague looked after all my needs and were super flexible. They went above and beyond doing a special birthday room set up and helped me attend at great rates activities I wanted to do; such as Sunset Cruise, Turtle Sanctuary Aquarium and Zoo. As a Solo traveller, I felt part of the family and was warmly received.
Being a YouTuber, Bon stepped in and helped be my camera man. The apartments are luxurious, the staff are attentive, friendly and fantastic! 10/10. I will certainly be Back!
On the quiet side of Nungwi, but with good food available onsite and close to other restaurants, it's very convenient. Beach is very safe at low tide and there is a great pool on site. Good selection of seating/swings/hammocks to relax in. Massage service provide was relaxing. We had a room with a shared apartment but no other guests while we were there. Close to the Turtle conservation sanctuary if you want to swim with them and not far to walk to the main Nungwi beach.
The hospitality at the hotel was great, friendly staff and very helpful. We had a short stay but it was a great experience. The food was great and the facilities are excellent especially for kids.
Essque is a lil paradise in Nungwi. The place looks amazing, staff is exceptional (special shout out to the general manager who went over and over to make our short stay an exceptional 1). We literally felt like we were the only guests at the resort by how the staff (Juma, Suleiman and Zulian) were always ready and willing to assist
Very modern well presented apartment has everything you need for home. Washing machine I left my holiday with clean clothes.
