The property felt like it was on an island of its own, hidden away from the rest of the world, it was peaceful with a beautiful garden and wonderful staff. Our apartment was superb, own balcony, private entry, large living room and bedroom with a modern bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, a big shout out to Isaaya who made sure we had what we needed, including ice for our daily drinks on the balcony. Thank you to Tanya who was helpful and kind, you have a fabulous staff and we enjoyed sharing your slice of heaven with you!
Nice apartment with nice view of the sea and sunset. Staff (especially Bony-was always avilible) was friendly and helpful with booking of tours and taxi. The restaurant that served breakfast made good breakfast with very nice fruit platter.
Everything was top-notch! From the transfer (really cheap compared to transfers arranged by other accommodations) to the atmosphere of the place itself where everything is clean and cosy, ready for you to relax. Beach is just around a corner. Very friendly owners and staff, great food and cocktails.

-The location of this property is excellent, very close to the beach and the northern point of Nungwi.
-The Masai huts were fun to stay in as an experience and the shared bathroom facilities were modern
-The manager Mounir was very friendly and a hospitable group of guests made me feel very welcome. I was travelling alone and together we went to a local dinner and on a boat trip.
-Perfect for a short stay
The Host were amazing! Bon and his colleague looked after all my needs and were super flexible. They went above and beyond doing a special birthday room set up and helped me attend at great rates activities I wanted to do; such as Sunset Cruise, Turtle Sanctuary Aquarium and Zoo. As a Solo traveller, I felt part of the family and was warmly received.
Being a YouTuber, Bon stepped in and helped be my camera man. The apartments are luxurious, the staff are attentive, friendly and fantastic! 10/10. I will certainly be Back!
On the quiet side of Nungwi, but with good food available onsite and close to other restaurants, it's very convenient. Beach is very safe at low tide and there is a great pool on site. Good selection of seating/swings/hammocks to relax in. Massage service provide was relaxing. We had a room with a shared apartment but no other guests while we were there. Close to the Turtle conservation sanctuary if you want to swim with them and not far to walk to the main Nungwi beach.
The hospitality at the hotel was great, friendly staff and very helpful. We had a short stay but it was a great experience. The food was great and the facilities are excellent especially for kids.
Essque is a lil paradise in Nungwi. The place looks amazing, staff is exceptional (special shout out to the general manager who went over and over to make our short stay an exceptional 1). We literally felt like we were the only guests at the resort by how the staff (Juma, Suleiman and Zulian) were always ready and willing to assist
