we have been on the road for seven weeks now and this would have to be the absolute best property we have stayed in!!
It has everything anyone could need and has been very thoughtfully abd generously appointed.
If we didn’t have onward bookings, we would stay here longer.

Magnificent hosts! Barbara and Richard made me feel like family and were so generous in sharing their countryside with me. The animals on the property are delightful to watch, as well. The Dovecote is beautiful inside and out and the views are incredible. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth and I cannot wait to return.

Great location for the trip as we were meeting friends locally. Easy to access, clean and well appointed. Snacks, and milk in the fridge were a nice touch.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
We stayed in the self catering flat which over looked a beautiful courtyard garden, which was solely for us and the other guests to use.
The food at the pub was fantastic. Monique is a great chef, who puts a lot of time and love into creating her dishes. Kit manages the bar, and is great at making everyone welcome. Between them they have created a real gem.
Hosts Monique and Kit went out of their way to make us most welcome and changed our room to a ground floor apartment when they noticed my mobility issues.
The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The food was also excellent. We will definitely return!
Didn't have breakfast but self catering room was adequate for our needs. All clean and tidy for our stay as we didn't state any specific needs. The apartment was warm and comfortable with wifi and television. Had our own key to access the building when shut to the public.
We did not have breakfast, but the food in the evening was delicious. Both Monique and Kit were the perfect hosts. we stayed in the self catering apartment, which was very well equipped and comfortable.
