Hassan and Mohammed are excellent hosts. They are very attentive and helpful. They made sure we had everything. Each morning, they prepared breakfast for us a delivered it to our room at the time we requested. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a view of the West Bank on one side, and Luxor city on the other. The swimming pool was clean and well-kept. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The bathroom was large and clean.

We are so glad we booked here, as it was a calm retreat away from the hustle and bustle of central Luxor whilst still being close to all the main attractions.
At Villa Rebecca you get a free transfer service to and from the ferry, so if distance is a concern it shouldn’t be!
The accommodation was spacious, clean, and comfortable with everything you need to feel at home. Ahmed, Mahmoud and Ali were always on hand if we had any questions or needed anything.
On the day we arrived we were quite tired so Ahmed arranged a takeaway for us and it was the most delicious and fairly priced Egyptian meal we had during our month travelling around Egypt.
We also booked a transfer to the Valley of the Kings with Ali - on the way he told us about the local area. We would have booked a tour with Ali, but we have a strict budget so had to opt for the cheaper option of just a transfer.
We highly recommend Villa Rebecca for your stay in Luxor!

"I had a fantastic stay at this flat near the train station. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from both the station and nearby temples. Despite the affordable price, the apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The apartment was situated in a very quiet area but restaurants were easy accessible, as well as the Nile and the ferry to cross to the other side. Mohammad was the perfect host, he helped us to make the most of our trip by showing us the area and organizing a driver for us. He was very attentive, letting us check in very early and also check out late. The pool was a very nice addition especially in the hot weather.
We stayed at the large two bedroom flat, the larger bedroom was quiet and comfortable, all the facilities needed are in the apartment, laundry included. There is a grocery store about a minute walk across the main street, and a local fast food place next to it. Easy to get to Karnak and Luxor Temples.
An entire apartment on rooftop of a tall building with 2 large beds, big fridge, kitchen, big bathroom, aircondition and a very spacious space where one can sit and admire from above the dawn on the Nile. The owner is a professor in egyptology and if you need, he can also be your guide for visiting various archeological sites. He and his wife and children will receive you gladly in their apartment for a talk and a cup of tea
We enjoyed our short stay in Luxor very much and with Hamdy’s help, everything was very smooth. He helped us book the balloon tour, go to the Valley of the Kings ahead of crowds, picked us up from the train station and even arranged for a transfer to Marsa Alam.

Mama Africa is a good accommodation choice for families or groups of friends. Apartment was spacious and comfortable with a nice terrace in front.
It’s located to plenty good restaurants and caffès.
Villa Rebecca has two very clean and modern apartments in beautiful rural surroundings.
Both have super king size comfortable beds and lounge area with kitchenette. The rooftop where a nice Egyptian style breakfast is served has fantastic views over surrounding banana plantations and field to the Nile.
Ahmed and his brother are very kind and polite and can organise trips or balloon flights. Highly recommended.

Ahmed and Ramadam are excellent hosts. They really care about their guests. Not just before you arrive, but throughout the stay. I was in the flat 6 nights and got regular "everything ok?" messages - which is nice when there is obviously no reception.
The apartment is very big indeed, it was very clean and well equipped. I liked having a washing machine, large clothes rack for drying clothes, iron snd cooker. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. Wifi good.
The property is beautiful, the entire apartment has a wonderful energy and some great art pieces on the walls. The views of Luxor temple are incredible and all round a great experience
