We are a couple from the United States and stayed 6 nights at the Luxor Plaza House. We have traveled a lot and Egypt can be challenging with help from someone knowledgeable. We messaged the owner, Mahmoud, and he arranged airport pickup for us. When we arrived we asked him to plan out 5 days for us. He sat down with us and came up with many things for us to do. He took care of finding guides and drivers for us. There was no hassle. He took care of us very well. My only advice for travelers would be to contact him before your stay so he can get everything scheduled easily. We didn't do that but should have. If you don't want to be hassled then let Mahmoud take care of you. If you prefer to do it all on your own, he is ok with that too.
We liked sitting on the balcony in the morning overlooking the Nile River.
The place is dated but clean. Staff were very nice.

Abdul and his staff are very pleasant people, who care about the well-being of their guests. The garden is very nice and the flats are very comfortable. The villa even offers a catering service, which is very much appreciated.

The apartment was situated in a very quiet area but restaurants were easy accessible, as well as the Nile and the ferry to cross to the other side. Mohammad was the perfect host, he helped us to make the most of our trip by showing us the area and organizing a driver for us. He was very attentive, letting us check in very early and also check out late. The pool was a very nice addition especially in the hot weather.
We stayed at the large two bedroom flat, the larger bedroom was quiet and comfortable, all the facilities needed are in the apartment, laundry included. There is a grocery store about a minute walk across the main street, and a local fast food place next to it. Easy to get to Karnak and Luxor Temples.
An entire apartment on rooftop of a tall building with 2 large beds, big fridge, kitchen, big bathroom, aircondition and a very spacious space where one can sit and admire from above the dawn on the Nile. The owner is a professor in egyptology and if you need, he can also be your guide for visiting various archeological sites. He and his wife and children will receive you gladly in their apartment for a talk and a cup of tea
We enjoyed our short stay in Luxor very much and with Hamdy’s help, everything was very smooth. He helped us book the balloon tour, go to the Valley of the Kings ahead of crowds, picked us up from the train station and even arranged for a transfer to Marsa Alam.
We are greateful for making our stay amazing!
Mama Africa is a good accommodation choice for families or groups of friends. Apartment was spacious and comfortable with a nice terrace in front.

Villa Rebecca has two very clean and modern apartments in beautiful rural surroundings.
Both have super king size comfortable beds and lounge area with kitchenette. The rooftop where a nice Egyptian style breakfast is served has fantastic views over surrounding banana plantations and field to the Nile.
Ahmed and his brother are very kind and polite and can organise trips or balloon flights. Highly recommended.

Ahmed and Ramadam are excellent hosts. They really care about their guests. Not just before you arrive, but throughout the stay. I was in the flat 6 nights and got regular "everything ok?" messages - which is nice when there is obviously no reception.
The apartment is very big indeed, it was very clean and well equipped. I liked having a washing machine, large clothes rack for drying clothes, iron snd cooker. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. Wifi good.
The property is beautiful, the entire apartment has a wonderful energy and some great art pieces on the walls. The views of Luxor temple are incredible and all round a great experience
