The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—a true home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, with everything we needed just a short walk away, making it the perfect base to explore the area. We were genuinely impressed with the attention to detail and exceptional service. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to return in the future!

One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...

Our apartment was ideal for us. Two bedrooms, one with 3 beds for our 3 children, sitting area, good size bathroom, kitchen and outdoor area. The breakfast had everything we needed and we could adjust each day to avoid waste. The receptionist Milene was very friendly and approachable. We had some rainy days but having an indoor swimming pool was great as we could use it every day.
