We felt like they were welcoming us as honored guests into their home, and they were so kind and helpful. The property was lovely and peaceful. This is a great place to base out of for visits to Coimbra or even Porto. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Hosts were very helpful in finding restaurants for dinner.

One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street.
