Coastal Hideaway, a property with a garden, is set in Midigama, 500 metres from Midigama Beach, 1.4 km from Dammala Beach, as well as 1.7 km from Ahangama Beach. We came to stay for a few weeks and ended up staying about 3 months! The building is basically brand new and is clean, comfortable and dry. Air con works great (and there is a fan above the bed also), and the fibre WiFi is super quick. The bed is comfortable and the room is quite dark for anyone who likes a sleep in. The hot water is good, and the kitchen comes equipped to make meals at home. There is also a communal washing machine to use, and drying racks on the roof. The host is amazing - very responsive on WhatsApp and happy to help out with anything. The location is great - maybe 10 minutes walk to the beach, but far enough away so you can't hear the road or the trains, and the music from party nights hardly reaches. All in all a great stay and will definitely stay again!

I don't have enough good words for this hotel and the helper, Mr. Danesh. We stayed here 1 month and we loved every second of it. The hotel was extremely clean and for us the location was very good, you could walk to the beach easily. Also, they offered covered parking which we appreciated. Mr. Danesh is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. He always cleaned after us, he brought us fruits all the time and he helped us whenever we need it. We got so used to living here, my wife almost cried when our month was done and we have to leave, haha. We will 100% be back.
