The property is really really close to train station, 2-3 minute walk. It is bigger than all other Japan accommodation I’ve been to, newly built so all amenities, equipment and appliances are new. There’s also a comprehensive English version on how to use all equipment so everything was so easy to use. Big bed, lounge, walk in dresser, fridge, microwave, stove and laundry all works well. They even have a documented staff recos on restaurants, etc. Toiletries/towels/detergent are available near lobby if you need more. Everything about this hotel was well thought of and I truly appreciated every detail. 100% highly recommended!

Minn Gion is located in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, 600 metres from Gion Shijo Station, less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Heian Shrine. Excellent location, very clean and the size of the room is much bigger than average in Japan. The kitchen was well equipped and the personnel always available upon request. I strongly recommend this place and do not hesitate to visit the small Nigiri food place opposite to Lawsons konbini just around the corner.

Excellent location, 300m from metro (Kyoto bus w/luggage is a pain) so station is easy. Imperial palace is next door. Silent street. Host is friendly, room is indeed spacious, furnished tastefully. Lots of wall sockets. Microwave, fridge is good to have. Openable window, balcony.

It's beautifully maintained, the apartment we had was spacious with no noise issues. The facilities were fantastic, the location was perfect and the staff were friendly & helpful. I will definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Kyoto.

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyo no yado en features free WiFi and a washing machine. Our host/staff Yutaka-san was exceptional. He was very very kind and friendly, and explained the room with very good details. He also helped in calling the taxi for us after checkout. Highly recommend as he can accommodate guests in English.

Situated conveniently in Kyoto, Kyoto Riverview House Kyoraku offers a continental breakfast and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The property is located in a very convenient and beautiful area and very close to all the trains and buses. It’s also within walking distance to many tourist attractions and shops and markets. Since it’s located by the river in a relatively quiet area there is no traffic disturbance and I always slept well. The surrounding is simple stunning and the staff are most friendly and helpful. I would like to say a special thank you to the front desk staff Alex who posted my laptop that I left behind by mistake on the same day as I called. He was very courteous, efficient and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will surely like to stay here if I visited Kyoto again in the future.
