We were going to a wedding so needed to check in slightly earlier, they got us in just before check in which bought us a bit more time to get ready. The Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Waterhead has several bars, restaurants and cafés. Lovely couple of nights. Room comfy and great pool Kate the host was outstanding. Very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us

Grindal Studio Apartments - Newly Opened Luxury Accommodation, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in St Bees, 24 km from Muncaster Castle, 35 km from Buttermere, as well as 41 km from... What a gem this place is! I stayed in a quality, clean and spacious studio apartment, with a built in kitchenette, lounge area and comfy double bed. The lounge area had a large TV, with all sorts of built-in apps (iplayer, Prime, Netflix, etc), whilst the kitchen came with a microwave, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, dishwasher (dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid were provided) and all the usual cutlery, crockery and glassware. There was also complimentary bread, butter and milk, along with tea, coffee and sugar. The ensuite bathroom was fresh and modern and came with a large shower cubicle. There was no bath. Towels, toilet roll and body wash / shampoo and soap were provided. There are no on-site staff at this accommodation and guests can come and go as they please. Each room has it's own keycard and the site has great wifi connectivity. There is also free on-site parking and a communal lounge, with TV. There is a lift, although it was not operational during my visit (the building is not yet complete, although it won't be long and this was not an issue at all). As well as being a fantastic apartment, it was also great value and in a great location. Accessing other parts of the Lake District is straightforward by car and Wasdale Head is only 45 minutes drive away (This is 1 of the locations from which to climb Scafell Pike).

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Lonsdale House Luxury Apartments offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Location is great. It's close to carparks and a stones throw away from local pubs, shops and restaurants. Accommodation is excellent 👌 👌 Clean, luxuriously presented and a lovely place to stay. Check in and out was easy and owner Neil and his team are delightful. Simply splendid!

Located in Ulverston in the Cumbria region, The Patrons Inn features a patio. The 4-star aparthotel is 48 km from Muncaster Castle. Beautifully appointed house in a quiet part of Ulverston. Very close to the shops and for countryside walks. The house was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Diana, the host, was very helpful and welcoming.

Located in Windermere, Kotel Windermere provides a garden and free WiFi. Clean, comfy hotel in a great location, easy to access the lake and local amenities, great to be able to take my pooch aswell!

The modern Waterview Deluxe Apartments are set on Barrow-on-Furness’ waterfront, less than a mile from the Dock Museum and town centre. Lovely accommodation,comfy beds nice and clean,spacious ,great position for shops supermarket just a couple of minutes walk .will stay again.thankyou
