The apartment has a large south facing balcony which got the sun from late morning onwards. Parking was easy and the grounds were well maintained. The aircon/heating worked well even though the units were scruffy.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and ended up extending. We were delighted to receive a bottle of champagne, flowers and chocolate and then an additional bottle at New Year. My husband fell in love with the golf course and played several times. Apartments are well equipped. Golf Club restaurant was great, just wish it stayed open later.

The Dunas complex has plenty of restaraunts and bars at competitive prices and are ideally located for beach, taxis , buses and shopping.

Just back from a week self catering at Alvor Park. Our apartment was a great size with ample storage and all the necessities.
We had a large balcony with 2 loungers and table & chairs. The grounds are really well tended and the decor in public areas in funky and modern. Loved the pool(s) , plenty of loungers and parasols to go around. We would definitely consider a return visit. My husband commented on the quietness around the premises, very little road noise or disturbance.

Rio House Alvor is a comfortable and well located property and the administrators are very helpful and professional to deal with. The house is well equipped, with a TV, Washing Machine, Dishwasher etc. so it is perfect for self-catering purposes.
