Very friendly and helpful host, who made us very welcome and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

The hosts were very accessible but not at all intrusive. I liked the patio in the front for my morning coffee and Bible study because the sun hit's it very nicely and there is a river with trees across the street so it's very peaceful. The beds were comfortable and we all loved the pillows especially. There's a clothes washer and a small dishwasher which made the stay much more convenient. We were there for a futball national training camp, and this was a great location to the stadium. There's also beautiful hiking near by in every direction...we hope to come back soon. At the edge of Poprad-Velka, under the mountains of High Tatras, Vila Martina offers en-suite rooms with satellite TV, free WiFi in all areas, and a functionally equipped shared kitchen for free... Amazing stay. Big and clean room and bathroom. Perfect for the weekend stay. Smooth check in and check out as they use some specific app where they provide you with all needed information and also collect payment. As well they are offering simple but great breakfast. We felt like at home. Amazing location, surrounded by mountains. 20-30 min by walk from the train station, but there is also a bus station 5min away so you can catch a city bus. Would stay here again for sure.

The couple who run this are so sweet. We stayed 3 nights. You'll feel like you're staying with family. They offered us a ride to go hiking and to the train station because it started snowing the day we left. I liked that the bedroom has it's own private area with an electric heater when the radiator wasn't on. The kitchen is well equipped and you even get tea and coffee 🙂 they don't speak English but we didn't have trouble communicating with the translator. Highly recommended! Oh and they even baked us a cake on our last day.
