Set in Poprad in the Prešovský kraj region, Apartman Astrum features a patio and river views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. I felt as if the property was very secure and that we were safe. The hosts were very accessible but not at all intrusive. I liked the patio in the front for my morning coffee and Bible study because the sun hit's it very nicely and there is a river with trees across the street so it's very peaceful. The beds were comfortable and we all loved the pillows especially. There's a clothes washer and a small dishwasher which made the stay much more convenient. We were there for a futball national training camp, and this was a great location to the stadium. There's also beautiful hiking near by in every direction...we hope to come back soon. Situated in Poprad and only 26 km from Strbske Pleso Lake, Útulný Domček Privat Bedrich features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house was surprisingly big with a spacious kitchen, separate bathroom and toilet. Once you get in, you want to stay there for a longer time. Everything was clean and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, waiting for our late coming. I really recommend this place to stay in while exploring the Tatra Mountains.

At the edge of Poprad-Velka, under the mountains of High Tatras, Vila Martina offers en-suite rooms with satellite TV, free WiFi in all areas, and a functionally equipped shared kitchen for free... Amazing stay. Big and clean room and bathroom. Perfect for the weekend stay. Smooth check in and check out as they use some specific app where they provide you with all needed information and also collect payment. As well they are offering simple but great breakfast. We felt like at home. Amazing location, surrounded by mountains. 20-30 min by walk from the train station, but there is also a bus station 5min away so you can catch a city bus. Would stay here again for sure.

Walking times: - 30 minutes to the airport - 25 minutes to the train station - 35 minutes to the centre Perfect apartment for my stay in a nice, quiet area. Friendly owner who invited me in for a drink to say hi. I found Poprad to be a great base for a week of hiking in the High Tatras. The electric trains run to all of the main trail heads (Strbske Pleso, Stary Smokovec) from very early in the morning. I also found the Dott e-scooters helpful for getting around Poprad (tip: they always have offers in app for 2 rides for 4 euro). There's a good range of restaurants in Poprad; burgers and beers, Vietnamese, pizza.
