Everything was clean and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, waiting for our late coming. I really recommend this place to stay in while exploring the Tatra Mountains.

Friendly owner who invited me in for a drink to say hi. I found Poprad to be a great base for a week of hiking in the High Tatras. The electric trains run to all of the main trail heads (Strbske Pleso, Stary Smokovec) from very early in the morning. I also found the Dott e-scooters helpful for getting around Poprad (tip: they always have offers in app for 2 rides for 4 euro). There's a good range of restaurants in Poprad; burgers and beers, Vietnamese, pizza.
