This is the perfect little beach shack, with furniture that reminded me of my grandparents house. It's simple and is meant to really be the place you sleep while out enjoying the local area. Rooms were simple, beds were simple, kitchen was small but functional and the bathroom had clearly been updated as it was lovely. Instructions for getting keys were clear and simple to follow, overall the stay was good and really convenient. It was awesome waking up each morning to the beach and had beautiful views of the sunsets each afternoon.

Housed in a building dating from 2003, this homestay is 1.1 miles from the Paraparaumu Beach. There's free private parking, and the property provides a paid airport shuttle service. Arrived a bit frazzled 14 hours after leaving Singapore, met by super friendly hosts, had the best shower & were offered a lift to a family gathering which we thought was walking distance… Thankyou so so much. Really appreciated this gesture. The room was perfect, the location was peaceful. 10/10, if you’re ever looking for somewhere to stay in the UK. Let us know!
Been to Raumati many times, enjoyed the wander around the village and park. Reddin's cafe was excellent with a fair choice of vegetarian foods. The new theatre is a bonus to the village and college.
The beach is a very relaxing area with good cafes and some shops but walking is the best way to get around. Kapiti Island visits are worthwhile and for shopping, Coastlands is worth a visit but it is a small mall.
They were lovely to us. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and were given a freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly owner who was happy to help in any way. Very clean, comfortable, balcony off our room overlooking the beautiful views of the coastline. Would have liked to stay longer if our schedule allowed it.
The unit was very clean and tidy. The bathroom and spa bath was amazing except we ran out of hot water.. Bed was comfortable. We have no bad review. Small note. No tea towel as we like to wash and dry our dishes we use. No chopping board either.
A stunning location. We only stumbled across it and will definitely recommended the area to others. Has a lots to offer visitors, including a great shopping area. Our host recommended eating at the Fishermens Table restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal there. The staff were excellent and we loved the beach view.
Our choice of this motel was for convenient for visiting friends and relatives in the area. We did walk along the beach on a cold and windy day and enjoyed watching the activities on the beach. The shops and eating places we visited were of a high standard.
