It was close to my sons place. Also close to the beach and shops. My wife had just come out of hospital so the ground floor was good for access.
Fortunately we were able to extend our stay by one night.

We stayed in Apartment 17. Apartment was nice and clean. Rooms were nice and spacious. Bathroom upstairs had heated floor and spa bath was divine.
I requested for an Apartment close to pool and it was met plus Andrew was mindful of different ages of my girls that he had the Sofa bed ready for teenager.
Loved it so much that we stayed an extra night to enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tub 🥰

The hosts were quite welcoming and polite. My husband and I were thrilled to see those pretty interiors and the well-maintained property. Nice outdoor area to chill with a few beers.
I was a bit disappointed in the beginning to find out that the spa was non-operational (temporarily) due to some leakage problem. On expressing my disappointment, the hosts were kind enough to apologise with a cute card and a box of chocolates to make it up as it was my birthday too.

The room was spacious and very clean. Used crockery was taken away during servicing and clean dishes provided daily, which is great when there is no kitchen, meaning you don't have to wash dishes in the sink in the bathroom

The owners, room and house very nice. very pleasant stay. However my vocation is a hotel designer with many international hotel room designs over 40 years experience thus I cannot but suggest some improvements to make their guest stay more pleasant. I do not intend to offend the owners but hopefully they will take a bit of advice to advance the enjoyment of other guests.

Our choice of this motel was for convenient for visiting friends and relatives in the area. We did walk along the beach on a cold and windy day and enjoyed watching the activities on the beach. The shops and eating places we visited were of a high standard.

The bathroom and spa bath was amazing except we ran out of hot water..
Bed was comfortable.
We have no bad review.
Small note. No tea towel as we like to wash and dry our dishes we use. No chopping board either.

The beach is a very relaxing area with good cafes and some shops but walking is the best way to get around.
Kapiti Island visits are worthwhile and for shopping, Coastlands is worth a visit but it is a small mall.

Heaps of parking and walkways down to the beach - especially great for families with young kids. Had an ice-cream there, we were too late to eat at a cafe, however I noticed there were a few to choose from. The village is always an easy place to walk around.

The beach itself had a well maintained path for walking beside the shore. Well equipped park for kids and a well lit skating park for kids on all ages. Bathrooms were maintained. Cute town with many choices of restaurants, cafes and stores. Love that Saturday mornings there was a street fair with local produce, gifts, etc.

Location of this property is easy to find and its only a short walk to the beach and to the little Paraparaumu Beach township. Good spacious bedrooms, lounge, dining and kitchen areas and a large lawn. Very small shower and toilet area on the bottom level but a large bathroom on the top one.
Super clean and nice hotel, very friendly welcome, bed was comfy, we left behind an item and didn’t realise until we were already on way the home and was called super promptly and the very kind team organised for it to be sent up.
It was a private room, away from the owners (who were upstairs). I loved the room. Really well appointed without being like a hotel room. If I could, I would swap that room and ensuite for my bedroom at home. :-)
