Great location at the harbor and 2 mins walk to office to buy boat tickets to Hornoya Island (which is an exceptional birding experience). Staff very helpful and the food at dinner food was excellent. Rooms simple but all you need.

Vardø and Meieriet have been very special for us, one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere has been memorable and we literally felt at home. The room had this intriguing antique vibe and at the same time all the modern comforts one may need. We will like to go back one day. Absolutely recommended!

Right on the water with a beautiful view of Varanger. At breakfast I got some freshly caught king crab from the night before! He also rented me his car to drive to Hamningberg as it was bad weather the next day, and drove me to Vardø with the bicycle! He’s also extremely knowledgeable about the area! Couldn’t ask for more!!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Vadsø, Ekker Island Arctic Lodge is a holiday home surrounded by views of the quiet street. Amazing place, wonderfull nature. Perfect resort if you love silence and peace. Nice wooden sauna on the yard what you can use for free. Cabin was modern and clean with seaviw. Location was only 13 kilometres from shops and restaurants In case that you need them.
