Facing the Barents Sea in northernmost Norway, this hotel is 5 km from Vardø Airport. Flat-screen TVs, sofas and tea/coffee facilities are in all rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. The staff was amazing, they were really nice and helpful. Location is great (just by the harbor). Rooms are decent size, comfortable and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is highly recommended.

We honestly couldn't fault it. I always feel a little nervous walking into a new place we've booked to stay, but I got that instant relief and happy/warm feeling when walking in. The apartment is spotlessly clean, it's cute and cosy and has the most amazing sea view. All facilities were provided, including a coffee maker which made me happy! There is a comfy sofa in the lounge where we sat and played cards each evening, a nice size table for eating, and a really comfy bed. Finally the hosts Mette and her husband were absolutely lovely people who we got on really well with. Brilliant hospitality. If (and hopefully when) we come back to Vardo we will be booking this place again for sure.
