The staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. The views are outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

How kind of them to offer our traumatised driver a snack after he had driven the wrong way and taken some time to get here on unsuitable roads. The views, the room, the food. The family who runs the place are so generous and made us feel genuinely welcome. They arranged my train tickets to Ella after I just asked for it, before I came and drove me to the train. Food was INCREDIBLE and abundant. We had a lovely balcony which was very comfortable and the room was nice, very clean and fine. Absolutely recommend to anyone to stay here. I think it was my favorite homestay in Sri Lanka for the kindness and hospitality shown. It's in a cute little village called Dickoya which is nice to walk around in and set within tea plantations which you can walk in
