It was the best stay in Sri Lanka throughout our all trip!

The staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. The views are outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

It will always be one of the most special moments of my life as I proposed to my girlfriend here. Huge thanks to the staff for recording our moment. The hotel is flawless, service and food could not be any better. Purely by coincidence we stayed here as the Hotel was featured on BBC "Amazing Hotels, life beyond the lobby". We were lucky that on our second day we were the only guests at Dunkeld bungalow so could enjoy everything to ourselves. The view from the infinity pool is probably the best I will ever see. Sure it's an expensive hotel but if you have the opportunity to stay here you wont regret it.

The view, the service, and everything else. Piyal, our butler, was simply extraordinary. He attended to our every whim. He was very warm natured and welcoming.

Featuring mountain views, Princess of Dickoya Homestay offers accommodation with balcony, around 43 km from Gregory Lake. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We were supposed to stay only one night, but shortly after we arrived we have decided to prolong our stay. Firstly the room looked absolutely amazing and the views from the terrace were breathtaking! Then we also found out that the owners are the best, very nice people and they will help you to arrange anything you need. We rented a scooter from them. Saman makes everything happen and on top of that his wife is an amazing cook. We have spent a little over two weeks travelling across Sri Lanka and this was for sure our favourite place! Would definitely come back for longer to this place.
