And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

How kind of them to offer our traumatised driver a snack after he had driven the wrong way and taken some time to get here on unsuitable roads. The views, the room, the food. The relaxing lounge area. I really don't think I can fault this place.

Everything! It was totally bliss - some of the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka, with the most lovely and kind family! Saman sorted everything for me, including journeys to the station and a sunrise hike of Adam’s Peak. It was simply gorgeous, even with rain!

Anton and the team were incredibly friendly, attentive and a pleasure to be around. They made every aspect of our stay truly memorable. The food, menu and table service were excellent and we even had a cake for my wife’s birthday 🙌 Activity wise we enjoyed some time in a canoe on the Reservoir as well as a bike ride round the perimeter. Just wished we had stayed longer to sample Adam’s Peak! Villa Serenity’s amazing interior layout, decor and furniture is the epitome of high end luxury. Everything from the bedding to the artwork has been carefully curated to create an amazing ambience that exudes luxury.
